Sky let their TV customers build a custom package, combining Sky Signature's 300+ channels with a range of Sky TV extras that can let them watch live sport, new release films and more. Each channel pack adds new, premium channels to your subscription, and some come with free extras like streaming service subscriptions or exclusive apps.

From the names alone, it's not always clear what's included in these packs of Sky TV extras. We've broken down all of Sky's channel packs below, including the top channels included and any bonus features.

One thing you should be aware of - Sky regularly changes the names of some of their channels for seasonal events, such as hosting a dedicated Oscars channel during awards season on Sky Cinema. That means that though you may see some different channel names when you check your TV guide, you're subscribed to the same channel packs we talk about below.

Sky Signature is the base for every Sky TV package, and now includes the Ultimate TV add on as standard. The pack includes more than 300 TV Channels and three streaming services - Discovery+ , Sky Go and Netflix. Sky Go is available exclusively to Sky subscribers, and lets you stream box sets and watch catch up TV on your phone, tablet, games console or other smart device.

One of the channel packs available to add to your Sky subscription isn't actually from Sky. Adding BT Sports to your subscription lets you watch most Premier League games not shown by Sky, excluding the 10% that now stream on Amazon Prime. BT Sport also broadcasts Rugby Union, Cricket, UFC, boxing, moto GP and more.
