What is my 'minimum commitment period'?


When you sign a contract for your broadband or TV, you will agree to a particular contract length. During this time, you are agreeing to pay for the service each month and your supplier is agreeing to keep your service operating as it should and to not raise the price of your contract (except in line with inflation).  

This contract length is also referred to as the minimum commitment period, and in most cases you will have to pay an exit fee to end your contract before the end of this period. This period will usually also apply to any features you have bundled with your contract such as a Netflix subscription, broadband boost or TV package.
